Okita Jinja - Dootsuu guu 沖田神社 - 道通宮 Dotsu-Gu
To protect the farmers of the new fields of Oki Shinden 沖新田, this shrine has been built by daimyo Ikead Tsunamasa 池田綱政 in 1694.
When the dams for the new fields were in a critical stage of building, a young girl called KITA きた from the village was offered alive to the Dragon Deity of Water to pray for a sucessfull construction.
She is now venerated as deity O-Kita Hime おきた姫.

He was the gundai　郡代　representative of the gun region
1640 - March 8, 1707. Born as the third son of Tsuda Sadanaga 津田貞永 Sagenta 左源太.
